Refund and Cancellation Policy

We believe academic tutoring should be flexible and accountable. This policy sets out clear, fair rules for rescheduling sessions, changing tutors, canceling plans, and requesting refunds.

1. Free Introductory Trial Session

Your initial 30-minute trial consultation is complimentary and carries no financial obligation. No payment card is required to request or attend a free trial session.

2. Session Rescheduling & Notice Period

Any scheduled one-to-one tutoring lesson may be rescheduled or canceled at no charge provided at least 24 hours' notice is given prior to the scheduled start time. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice (or unattended no-show sessions) may be counted as a completed session to compensate the tutor who reserved that time slot, except in cases of documented medical or family emergency.

3. Complimentary Tutor Rematch Guarantee

If your student does not connect with their assigned tutor during the first regular lesson, notify our academic coordination team within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement tutor at no extra cost and credit the session toward your new match.

4. Monthly Plans & Package Refunds

• No Long-Term Lock-In: Monthly plans may be paused or canceled at any time before the next billing cycle by emailing info@mathmakesmart.com.
• Unused Prepaid Lessons: If a family chooses to discontinue a prepaid package, unused lesson hours are eligible for a pro-rata refund (calculated based on the standard single-session rate for lessons already completed) within 90 days of purchase.

5. How to Request a Schedule Change or Refund

Contact our support desk at info@mathmakesmart.com with your parent name and booking reference code. Refund requests are reviewed within 2 business days.
