MathMakeSmart LLC (“MathMakeSmart,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of parents, guardians, students, and educators who use our website and online tutoring coordination services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We follow a strict data-minimization principle and collect only the information necessary to respond to inquiries and coordinate tutoring:

Trial Booking Inquiries: Parent or guardian name, email address, telephone number, optional student first name, student grade/year level, curriculum, subject, examination focus, preferred availability, timezone, and academic learning goals.
General Contact Inquiries: Full name, email address, optional telephone number, inquiry topic, and message content.
Technical & Security Logs: IP address and request timestamps used strictly for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and administrative security auditing.

2. Protection of Children's Privacy

All tutoring inquiries and trial bookings must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit personal data directly from children under 13 without parental consent, and we never publish student personal details publicly.

3. How We Use Your Information

To review academic needs, match students with qualified tutors, and confirm trial or regular tutoring sessions.
To send transactional confirmation emails and respond to customer support questions.
To maintain operational security, prevent spam or automated abuse, and fulfill legal obligations.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Inquiry records are stored in an access-controlled database with UUID v7 identifiers and role-based administrative restrictions. Only authorized staff with Inquiry Manager or Super Administrator permissions can view inquiry records. You may request correction or deletion of your personal inquiry records at any time by emailing info@mathmakesmart.com.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our public website does not require tracking cookies to browse subjects or submit inquiries. Secure, HTTP-only session cookies are used exclusively for authenticated administrative staff.
